Holy Crow.

What a week.

I can't remember too many things that happened this past week. One of those "I forgot to take note of things" kind of week.... but there are still a few things that I do remember.

We went on exchanges with the Sister Training Leaders... Sister Wolfe and Sister Taylor. Sister Wolfe came with me to my area. We had some lovely experiences. Some dogs came out and attacked our car... the muddy paw prints on the doors of our car still stand as evidence. And...

We were walking up to a house of one of the member's in the ward and these two little boys were running around outside with plastic light sabers. We immediately became the enemies (I don't know how) because they ran up to us pointing the sabers and yelling things at us. We kept walking up to the door and knocked. That's when they attacked. These little boys were smacking us in the head with their light sabers... hard. I found out that a light saber to the head actually hurts a little. The lady let us in and they proceeded to bang on her door with the sabers until she had to have a nice chat with them. Ah, to be loved.

So transfers are today. I'm sad to say that Sister Allen headed back home to Utah yesterday. Since that time I have been a foster missionary. I have spent the past 24 hours third-wheeling it with the Sister Training Leaders in their area and last night I slept over at the Spanish Speaking sister's (aka Hermanas) apartment because they had three beds. So I'm just waiting to get my new companion today at 2. I'm not training, so it is likely someone who has been out longer than I have. We'll see how it goes. :)

Sunday was incredible and had me bawling. Brother Duncan, a man who had not been to church in 40 years, bore his testimony and man was it powerful. It is incredible to see the change that is taking place in his life and how much he wants to serve! He glows with the Spirit as he talks about how the gospel is bringing power and meaning into his life that he hadn't had before.

Life is good.... even if we have mountains to climb.

Hope you all are having a great new year. :)
I love you all!

Until next time I'll be doing it the Federal Way.
Love,
Sister Pearson. :)
